Cypress Gardens takes its name from the botanical gardens that opened here in the 1930s and became Florida's first major tourist attraction, and the site is now Legoland. That history shapes the market in two concrete ways, and both belong in the photography.

First, the housing around the old gardens is genuinely established. Much of it is mid-century, some of it is substantial, and a good deal of it has frontage on Lake Eloise and the surrounding water. This is not new subdivision stock; it is mature, generously planted and often on larger lots than anything built since. Those houses want a considered approach: the mature landscaping is an asset rather than an obstruction, though it does mean the front elevation has an early window before shade crosses it, and older interiors want flash rather than a single exposure.

Second, Legoland is directly adjacent, which gives properties here a short term rental case that inland Polk stock does not have. A listing being marketed as an income asset should be photographed as one, with every bedroom covered, the pool deck properly worked, and the proximity to the park established from the air rather than asserted in the description.

Lake Eloise is part of the Winter Haven Chain of Lakes, and that matters. A house on connected chain water is on a navigable system a buyer can run for hours, not a pond, and the distinction carries real money. It is invisible from a back garden and obvious from an aerial that shows the frontage and the canal leading toward the next lake.
